Although Croc 2 was published by Fox Interactive in most countries, Croc Adventure was published by Koei in Japan, unlike Pau Pau Island which was published by Mitsui Media Quest.

*Game comes with a fold away sheet instead of an instruction manual.
*Disc uses cover art instead of the art used in other releases.
*Gobbos are no longer known as Pau Paus, but as Gobbos, like the original release.
*Hubs are called 'home' instead of 'village'.
*No PC version.
*The cheats do not work, and their codes have been removed entirely.
