The elephants are elements included in a few of the Desert Island levels in Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, helping Croc to traverse some parts of the level. They make a loud trumpeting sound and seem to be frightened of Croc when he jumps on their back. They run around in poisonous water that would hurt Croc if he touched it, but, like the hippopotamuses in Croc 2, it doesn't seem to harm them.
