Hazard: Difference between revisions

A hazard is an object or other [[Interactive Elements|Interactive Element]] which will cause Croc damage if touched or otherwise and are not considered an [[Enemy]]. These can be in the form of pitsPits, for example. 

A pitPit is something which Croc may fall into which will cause him to drop crystals or lose a life. They come in these types:

[[File:Mud_Pit.jpg|thumb]]Mud pitsPits are brown in colour and are found on [http://croc.wikia.com/wiki/Desert_Island Desert Island], although it is unknown why they would cause Croc any damage.

[[File:Poison_pool.jpg|thumb]]Acid poolsPools (also known as Poison Pools) are only found in circular pits on the [http://croc.wikia.com/wiki/Desert_Island Desert Island].

Iceballs have the same affect which come up from freezingIcy waterWater. Some may also jump from pitsPits onto the ground and jump back into the pitPit at the other end. Some may also juggle [[Platform|platforms]] to keep them above pitsPits for a short time. [[Enemies]] such as Devil [[Dantinis|Dantinis, ]] and [[Scorpions|Scorpions,]] and [[Firepoppers]] can also shoot fireballsFireballs and iceballsIceballs. These hazards seem to be the only hazards on [[Forest Island]] and [[Ice Island]].

These only appear on [[Desert Island]] and will occasionally spin around an area, attempting to whisk Croc into a Mud Pit or poisonPoison poolPool.

[[File:Water_stream.jpg|thumb]]Also referred to as sandSand streamsStreams, these will pour off a ledge and attempt to push Croc into a poisionPoison poolPool. They only appear in the [[Bonus Area]] in [[Leap of Faith]].

[[File:Swinging_Mace.jpg|thumb]]A swingingSwinging maceMace is purple in colour and spiky, but seems to swing from thin air and will swing from side to side, causing damage to Croc if he touches it. They are only found in levels on the [http://croc.wikia.com/wiki/Castle_Island Castle Island], with the exception of an area in [http://croc.wikia.com/wiki/Leap_of_Faith Leap of Faith].
