Many items were released through a variety of [[Croc Contests]], primarily found in [[Gaming Magazines]] that were popular around the time of [[Croc (Series)|Croc]]'s release. Others were given out among staff working at [[Argonaut Games PLC]], or used solely for advertising material. A few purchase and pre-order bonuses were also available.
Most of the merchandise for [[Croc: Legend of the Gobbos]] consisted of apparel and magazine posters, but [[Croc 2]] featured a much wider variety of unique items.
