--><noinclude>{{documentation|content=This formats an example wikilink, to show how it would be entered in wiki markup. The first parameter is the link destination. E.g. elc renders as <code>[<nowiki/>[Cookie]]</code>, the wiki markup for the wikilink Cookie. If a second parameter is given, a piped link is shown. E.g. elc renders as <code>[<nowiki/>[CookieBiscuit]]</code>, the markup for the wikilink Biscuit.

A third parameter, if supplied, is included as a suffix to demonstrate blended links; produces <code>[<nowiki/>[Cookie]]s</code>, the wiki markup for Cookies.

The short name elc ("example link, code") is chosen to be similar to the tlc template which produces similar output, but for template links.

I have a hard time believing such a template doesn't already exist, but my own searches and asking on the help desk hasn't turned one up, so it's worth creating.
