:Simply type <code><nowiki>{{main-gallery}}</nowiki></code> to add to a page. By default, it is linked to the same page as the gallery.
:By default, the template lists "subject" in its message. To change the noun to something else (e.g. character, item, enemy), type <code><nowiki>{{main-gallery|NAME GOES HERE}}</nowiki></code>. Adding the parameter <code><nowiki>|1=</nowiki></code> is optional.
