Template:Uw-login

I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. There are two reasons why you should not edit while logged out: 1) doing so will reveal your IP address; and 2) people may accuse you of sockpuppetry, i.e. trying to make yourself look like multiple users in order to gain the upper hand in a dispute or rig votes in polls. If this was not your intention, then please always remember to log in when editing. Thank you.

Usage:

• This template uses a parser function. To give greater detail to your message, you may add the article name and some additional text to the end of the template.
• Optionally, add |subst=subst: to the end of the template to reduce the code in the final output:

• This should however only be done if you use the Article parameter of the template. There is a currently investigated bug on the MediaWiki software that breaks the template if you omit this parameter and use |subst=subst:.
