A Jigsaw Piece In Croc: Legend of the Gobbos is found in each of the eight secret levels.
These levels are unlocked by collecting all six Gobbos from the three previous consecutive normal levels, and played after the Guardian level. The only objective in these levels is to actually obtain the Jigsaw Piece.
All eight Jigsaw Pieces, when put together, create a map to the fifth and final island, Crystal Island.
In Croc (Game Boy Color), obtaining all of the Jigsaw Pieces unlocks a minigame mode.
