You may use the optional date parameter, e.g. <nowiki>{{Fact|date=</nowiki>{{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{CURRENTYEAR}}<nowiki>}}</nowiki>. This helps with the categorisation of articles requiring citations. Articles tagged with this template without the parameter will be given the parameter by a bot.I will destroy you if you even try to do this. So don't do it, or else.
The simplest way to add this template to an article is to copy and paste <nowiki> {{Fact|{{subst:DATE}}}}</nowiki> at the appropriate place or use <code><nowiki>{{subst:Fact-now}}</nowiki></code>
