''Forest Island is the first island in the Gobbo Archipelago, and the one that Croc washed up on when he was a baby. This is the Island that King Rufus, king of the Gobbos, resides at. In it's center sits the Gobbo Valley where all of the Gobbos reside.

''The island consists mostly of hills and grass, with many caves filled with lava. Lava flows outside the caves too, often in rivers. On top of the island's largest hill is a boxing ring.

''Shortly after Baron Dante initially invaded Gobbo Valley, him and his Dantinis trapped 36 Gobbos in boxes, cages, caves, and various other prisons throughout the island.

''Thankfully, due to Croc's brave efforts, all of the Gobbos were saved. Except for King Rufus, who was taken to Castle Island.

''Additionally, off the coast of this island rests two hidden islands, which Croc could only access after freeing a set amount of Gobbos, hidden on each of these islands was a puzzle piece.

Featured article
Crox Interactive is the fourth and last standard of the hidden Crystal Island, and is the forty-fourth level overall in Croc: Legend of the Gobbos. It can only be accessed for those that have collected all 8 Jigsaw Pieces. This is also the second to last level of the entire game, the last being the final level and the final Guardian level. The level's title is a pun on the game's publisher Fox Interactive.
