Baron Dante has captured Croc's Gobbo friends. Croc must traverse the frantic levels, collect keys and free the Gobbos. Expert players can test their skills by collecting all the hidden gems thus ensuring the downfall of the evil Baron.

The game was showcased at E3 2005 by Morpheme. It was praised for "going the extra mile" with its complex level patterns with lots of hazards and puzzles, and for Croc's trademark sense of humour, such as the tutorial being presented as a phone call. The game reached six figured sales in the first year with virtually no marketing.
