Fireball

A fireball is a hazard in Croc: Legend of the Gobbos which appear in many levels throughout the game. They will cause Croc to drop any crystals he is carrying or lose a life if he has none. Fireballs usually originate in pits of lava and jump out of the lava every so often. There are a few types of fireball in the game:
- Jumping fireballs: These fireballs may jump up from a pool of lava every so often.
- Bouncing fireballs: These fireballs may jump out like a regular fireball at first, but will pop out a second time and bounce on the ground and end up in the other side of the lava. These fireballs often come up in pairs as shown in the screenshot.
- Fireballs under platforms: These fireballs aren't very effective in hurting Croc, since they come up from lava pits every so often to lift up a platform for a limited time for Croc to jump on.
- Some dantinis shoot fireballs from tridents when Croc is too close to them. They also shoot iceballs in some ice levels. Firepoppers and Scorpions also attack similarly.
Iceballs
Iceballs feature in some ice levels and have the same affect as fireballs.
