In Croc 2, the Mainland is defined as the area Croc is sent to to find his parents. The Mainland is where each of the four villages in Croc 2 are situated.

The Gobbos on the Mainland differ from the ones residing in the Gobbo Archipelago. The Mainland Gobbos do not have tails, or are just concealing them and they also wear outfits similar to their villages' theme.
