A Worm (sometimes known as a Burrowing Worm) is an orange/red enemy found in Croc: Legend of the Gobbos and its Game Boy Color counterpart. It has a variant named Worm in a Well.
Information
In both games, worms burrow under the ground, occasionally popping their heads up for a short while before returning back to the underground. When above ground they will always be looking at Croc when he is near.
They can only be killed by smash stomping them when their heads are above the ground, but will hurt Croc if they touch him either underground or above ground. They only appear on Forest Island.
