Grimmy is an enemy in Croc: Legend of the Gobbos and Croc (Game Boy Color).

Information

Grimmy attacks

In the console game, they appear on some levels on the Castle Island. When Croc approaches one of them, they will begin to spin around while holding what appears to be an axe which will hurt Croc if he touches it.

They cannot be tail-attacked but if you stomp close to them you can defeat them for a short time before they respawn.

Game Boy Color Grimmy

In the Game Boy Color game, they walk back and forth, and Croc can stomp or tail-whip them as necessary.

They do not run towards Croc.

Grimmy appears in all but the final castle levels, often at multiple locations.

Trivia

• In the level Dungeon of Defright, there is a Popping Game mini-game in which Croc must use a switch with three buttons to 'pop' several Grimmies who appear in the corresponding passage. If he pops enough, he will earn a Gobbo.
