A Vampire Fish[1] is a light green fish enemy with a pair of sharp teeth. They are encountered in a few underwater areas in Croc: Legend of the Gobbos and its Game Boy Color counterpart, Croc. In their debut appearance, Vampire Fish have red eyes, but in Croc, it was changed to lime green, likely because of the Game Boy Color's limited color palette.

Croc: Legend of the Gobbos
In Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, Vampire Fish are encountered a few times in The Deadly Tank of Neptuna. They swim in predetermined routes, but if Croc gets too close to a Vampire Fish, it attempts to bite him.
Croc (Game Boy Color)
In Croc, Vampire Fish are encountered in Desert 3. They now swim in a back and forth pattern. If Croc enters a Vampire Fish's line of vision, it charges at him repeatedly. Croc takes damage if he touches one.
